Birds Work to Sing Together

Love the finding that birds coordinate their songs and dance moves as a means of communication. In the bird world, these movements are like human facial expressions that create context and reduce ambiguity. I’ve been thinking about expression and communication quite a bit lately, so it’s fascinating to learn about the systems other species use.
